Small Font sizes

Postby cti2 » Tue Apr 19, 2016 7:00 am

VFP has a limit of 4pt font size
I have an app that needs very small text for some labels
The smallest I can find that comes installed on XP W7 etc is ARIAL NARROW
Using ARIAL NARROW 4PT is still to wide.
Does anyone know of any fonts that when set to 4pt (VFP limit), the font width is narrower than ARIAL NARROW?
Thanks, Pete Ryder

Font size 4 is pretty hard to read! If the width is the problem, you might consider setting the label's wordwrap property to .t. and using two lines.

Thanks for the reply Bob;
These are MAC address labels that are 3/8 x 3/8 that need the MAC address text and a 2D barcode of the MAC.
They are used on specialized electronics equipment.
The customer originally wanted the 17 char mac such as 70-B3-D5-3C-2A-27 to fit in the 3/8 width and I eventually talked them into breaking into 2 lines - like your suggestion - which allows a more readable font size
Thanx again, enjoy the falls !
