Chuck: Seems like you are right that EDI is not commonly used now a days except by larger companies, and/or companies that have been using it for a long time.
Nice to hear from another old geezer - just like me.
I have been mostly working from home for years and thought I was heading into semi-retirement, when a local customer of mine, gave me an nice office fully equipped at their electronics manufacturing facility. They are throwing buckets of money at me, so i'll do this gig for a while I guess. It's really fun though and I love what I do creating software solutions for them. Examples are interacing with their bank, sending daily QB transactions (using QB SDK), and interfacing with a number of their electronics suppliers.
I am sooooo happy I'm using VFP - it is so robust.
Cheers Pete
