Visual Foxpro - Windows 8 Compatability

Does any know if Visual Foxpro will run on Windows 8? or is Windows 7 the end of the line?

I haven't done any development in W8, however, I have run one of my large VPME9/VFP apps on Win8 and it ran fine.
I dislike W8 even more than W7. MS has left businesses on the sidelines with all of their newer OS.
I guess if all you care about is Pictures, Email and Social Media - W8 is OK.
I still use XPSP3 and can't ever imagine changing.
One of my local customers just bought 10 more new PC's from Dell. First thing I did is to rip out W7, install XP and then cloned the drive to the other 9 computers.

YOU make me proud Pete.
I echo your sentiments.
Have never really had any massive hiccups with XP.
Still gets the job done!

So far (about 3 hours), Windows 8 and VPME 9.1.12 with VFP SP2 are playing together nicely.

I'm on a wireless network, using dual monitors, and wireless mouse/keyboard. There's the usual hassle with trying to figure out where things are; the control panel, for example.

Installation was simple: remove from boxes, plug in. Everything found everything else.

All I had to do was say which monitor was the main; hence the need to locate the Control Panel.

Same here. Installed for a little over 1 week on Windows 8 64bit on wireless laptop. So far running just like XP and Win7 boxes.

Are you guys really up and posting at 4 and 6 am posting!... Man, makes me feel lazy! LOL
